Common questions

How Bowserly works, and where the prices come from.

How do I find the cheapest fuel near me?

Every Australian state and territory runs an official scheme requiring service stations to report their prices. Bowserly reads those feeds and ranks every nearby station by price for your fuel type, so the cheapest option is always at the top of the list.

Where does Bowserly get its fuel prices?

From official state government price feeds — FuelCheck in NSW, the ACT and Tasmania, FuelWatch in Western Australia, MyFuel NT in the Northern Territory, and the equivalent mandatory reporting schemes in Victoria, Queensland and South Australia. They're not crowd-sourced guesses.

Which fuel types does Bowserly cover?

ULP 91, E10, ULP 95, ULP 98, Diesel and LPG. You pick your fuel type and every nearby station is ranked by the price of that specific fuel. Not sure which to use? See E10 vs 91 vs 95 vs 98.

Does Bowserly cover the whole of Australia?

Yes — all eight states and territories. Browse fuel prices by state to see how pricing works where you drive.

Do I need an account to use Bowserly?

No. There's no sign-up, no login and no account. You open the app and see prices. Your location is used only to find nearby stations.

Is Bowserly free?

Yes, Bowserly is free to use.
